In light of this article I am going to keep it very quick and simple. Don’t overload your life with unattainable Resolutions. Just do 2 things.
1. Add a new good thing to your life each week.
For example: add at least one raw green vegetable to your diet each day. (make sure it is nutrient dense like kale or spinach or green peppers….not just romaine or iceberg lettuce)
For example: Reading a daily devotion every morning before you watch TV or look at emails or before anything else.
For example: Take a half hour power walk upon waking before coffee or anything else. Just do it. This will dip into fat storage and start your day with endorphins which are proven to lift your
mood and cause you to desire healthier foods.
2. Take a bad thing out of your life each week.
For example: No more flavored drinks. Only drink water.
For example: No more cussing
For example: No more talking about someone not there. (Gossiping)
Write down the things you are going to add and take away so you can hold yourself accountable. I also recommend doing this with another person so you can hold each other accountable. (Or at least tell another person who will hold you to your goals)
DO THESE 2 THINGS AND YOU WILL HAVE SIGNIFICANT CHANGE IN THIS NEW YEAR!
